WHAT ABOUT ME? An art therapy group for children ages 5-12 years old whose loved one has died. Starts Monday, September 22, 2008 and meets from 4:15-5:45 p.m. for (7) seven Mondays in a row.

WHAT ABOUT ME? A monthly art therapy group for children ages 5-12 years old whose loved one has died. Meets the third Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:45 p.m.

TEENS GRIEVE, TOO For teenagers ages 13-18 years old whose loved one has died. Starts Tuesday, September 23, 2008, from 4:15-5:45 p.m. for five (5) Tuesdays in a row.

TEENS GRIEVE, TOO A monthly group for teenagers ages 13-18 years old whose loved one has died. Meets the first Wednesday of every month from 4:15-5:45 p.m.

CHILDREN’S COMMUNITY-WIDE REMEMBRANCE SERVICE: A CELEBRATION OF LIFE For any child who has experienced the death of a loved one. Children can share stories, read a poem, sing or play musical instruments in memory of their loved ones (participation in this is optional). Face painting, arts & crafts and a picnic will follow the service. Meets Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Edward A. Hanna Recreation Center, 220 Memorial Parkway (near the Utica Zoo).

“W.A.M. CAMP” (WHAT ABOUT ME?) A free day “camp” for bereaved children
5-12 years old. Meets Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at Pioneer Camp, Graffenburg Road, New Hartford.

PASSAGES For any adult who has experienced a death of a loved one. Meets for six (6) Tuesdays in a row from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Call for Fall 2008 start-up dates.

ADULT PARENTAL LOSS For any adult who has experienced the death of a parent. Meets from 7:00-8:30 p.m. for six (6) Mondays in a row. Call for Fall 2008 start-up dates.

MEMORY MAKERS – A scrapbooking group for any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. Meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for six (6) Wednesdays in a row. Call for Fall 2008 start-up dates. A list of needed supplies will be available the first session. This will be a wonderful way to create a lasting memory of your loved one.

JOURNEY TOGETHER A group that provides social activities for the bereaved. Call Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. for a list of activities.

ROME PASSAGES For any bereaved adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. Call for Fall 2008 start-up dates.

HOSPICE WALKERS Meets at Sangertown Square Mall in front of Macy’s. For any adult who has experienced a death. HERKIMER COUNTY WALKERS For any adult who has experienced a loss. Meets every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at Herkimer County Community College Physical Education Building at the Inside Track on Reservoir Road, Herkimer. Contact Dorothy Suits at 866-3069.

WATERVILLE PASSAGES For any bereaved adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. at the Waterville Public Library Program Room, 206 White Street, Waterville.

PARENTAL LOSS WORKSHOP For those who have experienced the death of their father. Meets Monday, June 9, 2008 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
